He illustrates the practical application of sovereign device identities in combination with continuous identity and access verification through Hannah&, a smart healthcare device developed for elderly users by ETO Gruppe in collaboration with filancore. Additionally, Hannah& is capable of receiving verified automatic OTA updates without relying on a PKI infracstructure for providing long-term protection and functionality in connected environments. This real-world example highlights the latest device security innovations that ensure smart devices are trustworthy and automatically updateable for everyone.
