Live at the Hockenheimring: filancore technology in real-world conditions
What an exciting experience! Filancore was there live at the Hockenheimring when the BlueFlash team’s electric racing car competed against teams from all over the world in the international Formula Student Germany competition.

BlueFlash at Formula Student Germany (FSG) competition 2025 – filancore technology on board the BlueFlash electric racing car
In August 2025, the BlueFlash team took to the Hockenheimring to compete against top international university teams at this year’s Formula Student Germany (FSG). filancore was live on site which gave us the opportunity experience our implemented technology in real-world conditions – and cheer the team, of course!
Battery monitoring on track
Our filancore technology withstood all the vibrations of the track, data of the battery management system was diligently collected. Only the real-time transmission was not yet activated. This would have allowed the failure of a battery stack shortly before the end of the race to be detected in advance. We’ll manage it together at the next event!

BlueFlash surpasses last year’s performance
The team and its faculty advisor, Prof. Dr. Salvatore Sternkopf, absolutely inspired us with their passion, tireless efforts and technical expertise! Despite setbacks, night shifts, and a rollercoaster ride of successes and failures, they successfully fought their way into the endurance race – and were significantly faster overall than last year.
Hats off to you, congratulations, keep up the good work.
Stay tuned, we’re staying on board!
